The 3D Wind-Duck is the Future of Motion Decoys. With the ever-increasing pressure of motorized mechanical decoys being outlawed, the 3D Wind-Duck will always be legal in all of the US . Currently there are 2 states that have Outlawed Motorized Decoys and several more have limited their use. If you Duck Hunt in these States you know the value of motion in your spread.

When looking into wind powered Decoys, Ure-a-Duck Decoys was faced with a challenge of creating the best working Wind wings and body. After spending hours in the designing multiple wind driven wings and doing Patent research of what was available. The answer became obvious. The Winduk was the wing design of choice by Ure-a-Duck Decoy Company. The Winduk Decoy is a silhouette style decoy, which is still currently available and works well, I may add. The wings turned in a slightest direct wind (as little as 5mph, That is walking speed!). Once we decided which wind driven wing to use, we where then faced with the challenge of building a 3D sculpture that would make the 3D Wind-duck come to life. We then teamed up with the Winduk people for the use of the wings and created a 3D sculpture with competetion style looks that was attractive, durable, Floatable and in a position that the weariest of all Ducks would respond too. Once the first Decoy was made we knew we had a hit. The Decoy worked better and looked better than we could of ever dreamed of. So watch the video and think about the uses in your areas. There are primarily 2 methods of use of the 3D Winduk.

1. On a conduit pole ( 1/2 inch metal conduit, readily available at most hardware stores. Place a single small machine screw, 2 inches from the top if you would like to keep the decoy from twisting around on the pole.) With the 3D Wind-Duck facing the predominant wind direct, put the decoy in the early season on the downwind edge of the decoying pocket, this is the spot where you would like the duck to land. In late season place the decoy down wind 10 or more yards away from the spread.

Note: In States where Mechanical Spinning wing decoys are used Ducks have a tendency to become shy of landing close to spinning wing motion in the late season.

2. The Other Use is for the Deep water. Ure-a-Duck Decoy Company has the product to make Deep water or Shallow water the ultimate in the waterfowl hunting experience. This product is the H-Bar. It can be bought with for use for a single motion decoy or up to 3 decoys. (Look at the H-Bar link) The use is simple, once the H-Bar is assembled place the 3D Wind-Duck or 3D Wind-Ducks on the H-Bar Poles and they will Float into the wind on there own.

Note: Be sure to use an ample amount of Decoy weight, there is a lot of wind pressure against the 3D Wind-Ducks.
